The two rocks
The rocks of Solutré and Vergisson are standing at the entry of the Mâconnais vineyards, and provide a wonderful view on the area. The museum of Solutré houses a prehistoric exhibition.
On the way to St-Jacques de Compostelle
The village of Château is on the official route of the pilgrimage starting from Cluny to Le Puy en Velay. You reach hereby the Podiensis path leading to St-Jacques de Compostelle. La Grange du Dîme had been a stopping-place for the pilgrims as recalls the shell engraved on its frontage .
